At Easyship, we’re all for making the world a more equal, non-judgemental place. That’s why we’re proud to support a wide range of entrepreneurs and businesses.

In light of the Black Lives Matter movement, Easyship has chosen to match employee donations to a number of important funds, including the NAACP, the Black Lives Matter Foundation, and the Brooklyn Community Bail Fund.

There are many ways to support the Black Lives Matter movement, from donations to joining protests. But, another great way to put your money where your mouth is is to actively choose to buy from Black-owned businesses.

There are many of them out there, from small, local mom-and-pop shops to bigger global companies. And, they specialize in everything you could possibly need to buy, from cosmetics and hair care to fashion and home decor.

Buying from Black-owned businesses is a direct and easy way to support the community; many of these have also been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, so shopping with them is a great way to ensure they stay in business.

To that end, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight some of the fantastic Black-owned businesses that use Easyship to reach their customers. We’ve compiled a list of five great eCommerce businesses we work with that produce a variety of products, but don’t forget, there are many more out there!

1. Get Your Skin Glowing with Natural Products from Garner’s Garden

Created by Philip Garner in 2012, Garner’s Garden is a Black-owned business specializing in making affordable, 100% natural skincare products. Their story began at local farmers’ markets and events; now, they’re being featured in The Huffington Post and PYNKMagazine. All throughout, they’ve stayed true to their aim of creating natural, handmade beauty products crafted with high-quality ingredients.

The Garner’s Garden skincare line features everything from clay masks and serums to deodorants and oral care. We’re particularly fond of the Shea Hair Butter which combines natural and essential oils and organic ingredients and leaves hair and scalp thoroughly healthy and moisturized while promoting hair growth.
