FedEx is one of the largest courier companies in the world, with millions of clients across the globe. FedEx's dedication to satisfying their clients means they ensure their operations run smoothly throughout the year, even on weekends. The real question, though, is “Does FedEx deliver on holidays?” The answer to this question can easily be found by figuring out FedEx’s delivery dates.
All eCommerce merchants should have a good idea about FedEx’s holiday schedule and deadlines. With this, they’ll know whether the courier will operate on different dates of importance, and how to plan ahead for this. It will also help align shipping needs and ensure that your customers receive their holiday orders on time.

This will help you make sure your shipping strategy is aligned with FedEx’s operations so your customers’ orders continue to be delivered without delay.
Memorial Day – Monday, May 25
This is a big day on the FedEx holiday schedule. Americans use this day to commemorate veterans who have sacrificed their lives in military service. FedEx offices will remain closed on this day, and no mail service will be running.
You should be aware that FedEx Freight and FedEx SmartPost services will also not operate on the preceding weekend, May 23-24. Here are the deadlines you should know for each service.

Traditionally, Americans use this day to give thanks for the autumn harvest and the celebration is marked with a festive feast.
