The ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) is a regulation in the European Union that outlines a framework for how companies treat the personal data information of EU residents. It was established on May 25, 2018, replacing the DPD (Data Protection Directive, also known as Directive95/46/EC) which was the data protection regulation that was adopted in 1995.
Yes! Easyship has been compliant with GDPR since May 25, 2018, and remains dedicated to protecting the Personal Data of all Users and Customers.
Easyship’s platform and API include data protection as a core requirement during development and implementation. We only collect, process and maintain data that’s absolutely required for providing our services, and restrict access to Personal Data to employees that require it to conduct business.
