What a year it's been!
Let's review, shall we?
Our mission is to build a product that makes shipping so seamless for SMB's, that they can go global in minutes. Here's what we've done to work towards this goal.
Integrations. We successfully integrated with several platforms this year:
Grew our warehousing network. We expanded our fulfillment services by partnering with more warehouses around the world: over 20 are now on our list!
This year, we continued to stay engaged with the eCommerce community both online and off.
Singapore's first eCommerce Hackathon. We hosted the first ever eCommerce hackathon in Singapore, and it sold out! The main challenge of this hackathon was to find an innovative use for our global shipping API, and eight teams enthusiastically rose to the challenge.
Australia's first eCommerce Day. We brought our trademark eCommerce day from Hong Kong and Singapore all the way to the land down under! Our partners Shopify and Xero shared sales and accounting best practices while yours truly shared the secret sauce to global shipping.
IRCE 2018. We had the opportunity to host a booth (Booth 249, to be exact!) which allowed us to foster new relationships and strengthen old partnerships. It was a pleasure to converse with businesses ranging from SMEs to large companies, and sharing our personalized insights on how they could improve their logistics. Find us there again in 2019!
Participated in podcasts. This year we made an effort to reach out to more eCommerce sellers through some popular podcasts. Check out the complete list here, which also includes other podcasts we're a fan of!
We're not shy about being in the spotlight...
Forbes 30 Under 30. My Co-Founder Augustin and I were inducted into Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, Class of 2018! It was a great honor and one of the highlights of our career. Check out our profile, in addition to Augustin's Forbes article on how small brands are going from zero to global.
Closed our Series A round. With $4m in funding, we will work towards developing our technology, adding more shipping and logistics partners, and reaching more customers. Check out our feature on TechCrunch for more details!
And that's a wrap! Many thanks to our company sherpas, business partners, and customers who have made 2018 worthwhile for Easyship.
On behalf of the team, allow me to send warm holiday wishes to you and yours. We look forward to helping your business grow in 2019!
